My artistic journey is the fabric of the Dominican Republic, and the energy of its landscapes. I've called New York home since 2014, where I've been expanding my horizons and integrating the multicultural mix as a collective memory into my body of work. A self-taught artist, I've embraced a multidisciplinary approach, allowing my creativity to unfold organically.
At the heart of my exploration is the subtle dance between landscapes and the human experience. Nature, with its kaleidoscope of colors, serves as my primary inspiration, influencing our collective emotions and memories. Costumbrismo, particularly in its depiction of traditional life and ordinary landscapes in the Dominican Republic, is a recurring theme, a tribute to the cultural roots that shape my identity.
